CALL The Midwife’s Helen George was spotted leaving co-star Olly Rix’s home — as the pair bond over their partners’ splits.
The actors, who play on-screen lovers Trixie Franklin and Matthew Aylward, reportedly comforted each other amid their recent emotional turmoil.

And on Sunday morning last weekend, Olly, 36, was seen at his west London home, which Helen, 39, was later seen leaving.
She was carrying a large bag and her dog Charlie was on a modern hands-free dog leash.
She lives ten miles away in East London.
In July, she announced that she was separating from her actor partner Jack Ashton (36), whom she met on a BBC show in 2014.

They have two children.
Around the same time, Olly split from his make-up artist girlfriend Natasha Fagri after seven years together, the Sun exclusively revealed on Sunday.
An onlooker said of Helen’s visit: “Olly looked relaxed. Helen showed up later, around lunchtime. She was carrying a great big bag and looked a little disheveled.
“She hopped on the subway with her dog in tow.”
A TV insider told The Sun on Sunday: “It’s been a tough year for both Helen and Olly. They spend a lot of time together on the set, walking their dogs together and chatting a lot.
“They both respect each other as actors, support each other and are committed to their roles in the drama. The changes in their relationship caused a lot of upheaval.”
In February, fans watched Olly and Helen’s on-screen characters tie the knot in the season finale.
Now Sun and Sunday can reveal that the upcoming series will end on a cliffhanger, with Helen’s character Trixie deciding to leave.
It comes after we previously revealed that Olly would be axed from the series. His sudden departure is said to have shocked his fellow actors.
Our insider said: “The writers will send shockwaves through fans in the new series as Helen and Olly’s future on the show looks uncertain. Olly’s departure left the cast and crew stunned and upset.
“Everybody thought he was the mainstay of the show after his standout wedding scenes with Helen last season.
“Now Helen’s character is committed to leaving the East London setting in the final episode, following her on-screen husband.”
Olly previously described seeing Helen in her white dress during the wedding scene as a “heart-stopping moment”.
He told ITV’s Lorraine: “It was a busy day and lots and lots of people in the church and there wasn’t much time to make a plan but I did everything I could to make sure I didn’t see Helen before she got to the set .
“I had no idea what the dress would look like.
“I was talking to the guys who drove us down and I said, ‘Please make sure we don’t cross each other, I don’t want to see her until I see her walking down the aisle.’ And, amazingly, it worked and it was a heart-stopping moment.”
Speaking about the marriage earlier this year in an interview about the wedding story, he told Digital Spy: “As I get older, I look at people and think, ‘You’re not married to the right person. You didn’t have a family with the right person’.
“We all make compromises and we all deal with the fact that time is running out. We play the hand we were dealt.”
A spokeswoman for Helen said: “Yes, she went to visit a friend for a cup of tea – as all friends do – and as we’ve always said, there’s nothing more to it than that.”

Friends in trouble

It’s heartwarming that Helen George and Olly Rix have been a comfort to each other during a difficult year for both of them.
They were true professionals, working hard on the upcoming series Call the Midwife and spending long hours on set.
The acting industry is different from office work.
With emotions running high and social patterns unconventional, it’s understandable that two like-minded people would lend a shoulder to cry on.
Fans will be delighted that Olly was such good friends with Helen, who is now a single mother of two – he even took his pet dog Charlie into his home.
