Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx Have Funny Mixed Reactions to Their Past Outfit Choices: ‘Hell No’ 

Cameron Diaz and Jamie Foxx may be back in action, but they wouldn’t mind pulling back some of their past outfit choices.

In a hilarious video shared on Netflix’s TikTok account on January 20, Back in action The costars reflected on their memorable fashions, from Diaz’s ’90s style to Foxx hosting the 2018 BET Awards.

For the most part, the duo had good things to say about their tailoring careers, agreeing that Diaz’s pink cheongsam-inspired dress was worn on Mask premiere in 1994 and Foxx’s 2012 Ozwald Boateng purple suit. Django Unchained premiere were cool enough to come back.

Diaz, 52, even said she “wasn’t mad” about the post-’90s outfit she wore for Vanilla sky premiered in 2001 and then her normal appearance for a Gangs of New York event in 2002, which Foxx agreed was “elegant.”

They also stepped up their double denim looks, including Diaz’s sexy Canadian tuxedo in 2000. Charlie’s Angels screening (“When am I not wearing denim on denim?” she joked) and Foxx’s “Ice Cube” ensemble from Men of honor premiere of the same year.

But Foxx, 57, had to admit he had “a few distractions” in his time. Case in point: the boxers who revealed their “muppa” (“man’s bum”) at the BET Awards.

Today, the pair look better than ever on the red carpet as they promote their new Netflix movie, which marks Diaz’s return to acting after a decade and Foxx’s return from a stroke caused by a brain bleed.

On January 15, they stepped out in Berlin wearing coordinated all-black looks to promote the project, in which the two actors play a pair of ex-CIA spies who swap their lives as operatives for a family, but are forced to revisit their past lives and think what does it mean for them today.

She wore a sheer top under a long balloon and wide-leg jeans, while he kept it classic in a fur-collared coat, trousers and a white shirt with a patterned tie.

In a recent interview with PEOPLE, director Seth Gordon shared how Foxx supported Diaz as she returned to acting.

“Anyone who was on the set will tell you that he was the biggest cheerleader and hype man for her, and really for everyone involved, but especially for her,” Gordon said, adding that Diaz in turn helped “spiritually” Foxx as he navigated his medical emergency, which happened on set Back in action in Atlanta in April 2023.

“It was a very unusual situation to navigate, but it makes a big difference when they have that old friendship, and it comes from such a good place.”
