CANARY Wharf Tube station has been put on alert – dozens of passengers were seen fleeing after a person “fell from a height”.
A huge ambulance was at the scene in South East London just after 1pm this afternoon.

Passengers were seen running away from the station
At least eight ambulances and police were seen, and one person was taken away on a stretcher.
An ambulance spokesman confirmed there were reports of a person “falling from a height”.
User X posted: “It’s a terrifying experience to have a police officer screaming ‘get out as fast as you can, move’ on the Canary Wharf platforms.”
The Transport for London warning read: “Section closed – Jubilee line. Trains are not stopping on the westbound Jubilee line while we deal with a customer incident.”
A spokesman for London Ambulance Service said: “We were called at 12.50pm today (August 6) to reports of a person falling from a height at Canary Wharf tube station, in Bank Street, E14.
“We dispatched resources to the scene, including an ambulance crew, a paramedic in a rapid response car, an incident response officer and members of our Hazardous Area Response Team (HART).
“We treated the man at the scene and took him to a major trauma center.”
A spokesman for British Transport Police said: “Officers were called to Canary Wharf tube station at 1.07pm to reports of a medical incident.
“Paramedics also attended and the man was taken to hospital with serious injuries. The incident is not being treated as suspicious.”
The London Fire Brigade confirmed that it was not present.
