Cara Delevingne’s L.A. Home Engulfed by Massive Fire That Caused Roof to Collapse: ‘My Heart Is Broken’

Cara Delevingne’s Studio City, California home was engulfed in flames early Friday morning, causing the roof to collapse.

According to information released by the Los Angeles Fire Department, firefighters arrived to find heavy fire in the rear of the 6,650-square-foot home.

The model and actress was photographed on Thursday in London, where she performed as Sally Bowles in the Cabaret at the Playhouse Theatre. It is not clear who was staying in the house in her absence, but firefighters confirmed that the occupant suffered from smoke inhalation,

“Crews confirmed that all occupants were out of the home and then went back into defensive mode due to the extended duration of heavy fire that exposed structural elements,” the LAFD statement continued.

The roof of the house collapsed, while firefighters extinguished the flames with hoses from the outside.

In the end, it took 94 firefighters over two hours to extinguish the fire. One firefighter was transported from the home after falling from a ladder, the LAFD confirmed.

2021. Delevingne gave Architectural Digest a tour of the eccentric and highly personalized home, which she called her “grown-up playhouse.”

“The theme of this house is not Alice in Wonderland. Each room has a different theme,” she explained in the video tour. “But I feel like the theme of this one is definitely the Mad Hatter’s tea party. But there’s the jungle theme, there’s the Beverly Hills Hotel, there’s the old English style, but also, obviously, very typical LA.”
