Casey Affleck and Matt Damon 'Rob' a Dunkin' (with Finger Guns) in New Commercial

Matt Damon and Casey Affleck will do almost anything for Dunkin’.

In a recent commercial promoting the duo’s latest film, PromotersDamon and Affleck pull off a “heist” at a Boston Dunkin’.

The ad opens with Affleck, 49, off-camera telling an exasperated Damon, 53, to put a bag over his arm. The two go to a coffee shop chain where they are greeted by a Dunkin’ cashier. But Affleck immediately responds, “We’ve got good news and bad news. The good news is your shift is over. The bad news is you’ve been robbed.”

The commercial then cuts to Affleck holding a paper bag and saying, “Have you ever been robbed before? This is what it looks like.”

But the couple’s plan doesn’t fool the cashier, who tells Affleck, “I see your hand, Einstein.” He then rips the bag from Affleck’s hand revealing his gun and reluctantly adds, “I’ve got a gun too.” The cashier joins in and reveals his gun as he replies, “Two instigators in here, huh? Bitty stuff.”

An annoyed Dunkin’ employee encourages the two to order something and says, “It’s been a long day, what do you want? There’s a whole row behind you.”

Damon and Affleck surrender and Damon orders a Boston Kreme and a “large regular” coffee, and Affleck asks for a strawberry frosty (after confirming that Affleck will pay for it). Since they brought their own paper bags, Damon tells the employee that they will use them because it’s “better for the environment.”

The couple recently spoke with PEOPLE about filming Promoters movie in their hometown of Boston. “The sense of humor and the way people just look at the world here,” Damon said, noting that “it’s really fun when you come from it because you know what it is.”

“It can seem uncomfortable to people who are not from here. But when you’re out of here, you feel like, you know, a comfortable pair of socks,” he added.

“Boston has changed a lot,” Affleck noted. “It’s really not the city we grew up in… The whole country has changed. There have been so many changes in culture.”

He continued: “On the other hand, it’s a place where I still feel more at home than anywhere else. So that says something about what a place does to you as you grow. I will forever be associated with this place no matter how much it changes.”
