Catherine Zeta-Jones Wishes ‘My Love’ Michael Douglas a Happy Valentine’s Day with Romantic Photos

Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas celebrate their love a little more today.

To mark Valentine’s Day – and 23 years of marriage – Zeta-Jones, 54, posted a series of pictures on her Instagram account, showing different shots of the happy couple.

“Happy Valentine’s Day to my love Michael,” the Welsh actress wrote with a heart emoji. She added, “sealed with a kiss.”

Most of the black and white photos of the cute post are indeed full of kisses, from shots of her and Douglas, 79, kissing in and near the ocean to Zeta-Jones posing with their daughter Carys Zeta Douglas, 20.

Set to an orchestral version of Louis Armstrong’s “La Vie en Rose,” the photo montage includes a particularly romantic sequence of images of a married couple kissing with arms wrapped around them as the sun sets on the ocean behind them.

Zeta-Jones and Douglas married in 2020 and share daughter Carys and son Dylan, 23, alongside Douglas’ son Cameron, 45, from his previous 18-year marriage to Diandra Luker.

The two also share a birthday, September 25, and are both Oscar winners. Zeta-Jones earned hers for 2002 Chicago while Douglas received one for acting in 1987 Wall Street and another for producing the 1976 Best Picture winner. one flight over the cuckoo’s nest.

Valentine’s Day has often been an opportunity for Zeta-Jones and Douglas to share a glimpse of their love via social media. In 2022, they each posted more glamorous pictures together to mark the special day.

In 2021, Douglas posted a photo of the two of them the night they met at the Deauville Film Festival in 1998. “I found out he has the same birthday as me — tadaah!,” The Kominsky method the star wrote in her caption. He added: “Then when I found out he loved golf, I realized that all my fantasies had come true. I was lucky at this time of my life.”

The Ocean’s Twelve the actress previously told PEOPLE that she is enjoying every moment of her relationship with Douglas. “I enjoy every minute with this guy. Well, he’s a good son. He’s just the best,” the mother of two said in 2022. “Every year it gets better and better and with such good friends, I mean, in our family, which is great.”

Among Zeta-Jones’ other recent Instagram posts was her tribute to the late Chita Rivera, who passed away on January 31. “From dreaming to be you as a little girl, then to meet you and then to be deeply connected with you,” she wrote about her colleague Chicago star, who originated the role of Velma Kelly on Broadway and appeared in the film adaptation.

She added that “there are no words to tell you what an incredible impact you have had on my life.”

Douglas’ list of upcoming film projects, meanwhile, includes Franklin, in which he portrays founder Benjamin Franklin. The premiere of the Apple TV+ miniseries is on April 12.
