CBSE Board Exams 2024 Date
CBSE Board Exam Date Sheet 2024 Coming Soon: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is expected to announce the dates for the Class 10 board exams around two months before the exam begins. Once released, students can check CBSE Board Date Table 2024 online at cbse.gov.in.
Last year the exam pdf schedule was released on 29th December 2022. This year too it is expected to be released by the last week of December. Also, due to general elections, CBSE may conduct main subject papers in the first half of the exam schedule. This will not be the first time that the board will change the CBSE marksheet pattern.
Furthermore, the board made various changes in the date sheets and emphasized on giving more time for difficult subjects like mathematics. Here the students appearing for the 10th class examination can check the major changes in the date sheet in the last 5 years.
CBSE Board Exam Date 2024
So far the complete schedule of CBSE board of class 10 has not been released.This year, along with the General Elections, the Board is expected to conduct the main exams in the first half of the schedule. CBSE can complete the main papers as well as the subjects chosen by a large number of students by 15th March 2024. However, the board has confirmed that the CBSE 2024 exams for class 10th and 12th will start on 15th February 2024.
In July, the board further informed that these exams will be conducted for approximately 55 days and are expected to end by April 10, 2024. The CBSE practical exams will begin on November 14 for winter schools and the class 10th and 12th exams will begin from February 15, 2024.
CBSE Class 10th Board Exam 2023
This year, CBSE has set Mathematics as the final exam. The board organized the English and Science exams before Holi, followed by the Basic Subject exam a week later. The CBSE date sheet has given students ample time to prepare for demanding papers like Mathematics.
CBSE Board Exam Dates 2022
In the year 2022, CBSE conducted the exams in two terms. CBSE 10th semester 2 exams were held between 26th April and 24th May 2022. The first major exam was English, Maths was in the middle and the last main exam was in Hindi.
CBSE Board Exam Date Sheet Over the Years
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the CBSE Class 10 board exams for the academic year 2020-2021. were cancelled. Instead, a student grading scheme was implemented. Based on this, students received grades.
In 2019, CBSE changed the date sheet pattern by placing minor subjects before major subjects. The schedule is structured so that students have enough time to prepare for basic subjects. The sequence was Mathematics, Science, Hindi, English and Social Science.
In 2018, CBSE started board exams with optional papers like Information Technology and Agriculture and the last exam was painting. The pattern followed that year was – one minor subject, an average break of 2 days and one major subject. Mathematics was placed as the last major subject on the date sheet.
