Channing Tatum used to wear only white t-shirts because, really, really he hates washing his clothes.
In his episode GQ’10 things Channing Tatum can’t live without’ Blink twice star revealed he hated doing laundry so much he kept buying basic T-shirts just to avoid work but still have clothes to wear.
“I had one year that I called ‘the year of the fresh white shirt’. I don’t think I did any laundry that year. I just put on the white t-shirts I just bought. I would say, ‘I can get, like, twice a week to wear this,'” the 44-year-old actor said.
“The year of the fresh white shirt – ’99 or 2000. That’s a beautiful year,” he said as he looked back fondly on that time in his life.

To this day, however, the father-of-one still likes “plain” and “shabby” white shirts because “it’s just a classic thing.” He does have his preferences, however, and usually goes for Hanes t-shirts and tank tops (minus the “weird kind of fitted.”).
He also stays true to his favorite Dickies pants, which he has worn since he was 18. “It’s my comfortable clothes. It doesn’t fit me anymore. My butt got bigger. I’m going back to that weight,” he joked in the video.

Tatum recently took his main thing out of the closet for Blink twice photocall in London on August 18 with his fiancee and director Zoë Kravitz. He paired it with a sleek black suit that matched Kravitz’s Saint Laurent look.
This year, fans got to see plenty of Tatum’s personal style as he promoted his new movies, including Fly me to the moonwhich was released on July 12.
He mostly sticks to a traditional take on menswear in multi-tailored suits. Kravitz, he previously revealed, was a huge inspiration to him in the style department.
“Some of my friends, like you and Zo [Kravitz] they were like, ‘Why don’t you just wear what you wear? Why not just be you?’ You gave me some very specific style advice,” he told Jonah Hill for V man magazine in February 2022.
