Charli xcx Brings Out Lorde as Surprise Guest During N.Y.C. Sweat Tour with Troye Sivan

Charli xcx performed everything “good” at the New York City Sweat Tour.

On Sept. 24, the 32-year-old pop star had a few surprises in store for fans who attended her joint tour with headliner Troye Sivan at Madison Square Garden.

After singing her song “Spring Breakers,” the overhead lights turned to a white billboard where Addison Rae appeared in a white bra and skirt to debut “Diet Pepsi” live. When she got to the chorus, Charli and Sivan, 29, joined her to sing some of the words, according to fan footage.

The beauty mogul, 23, then performed “Von Dutch” (AG Cook Remix) with Charli.

But the “Boys” singer wasn’t done shocking her fans.

Charli then performed her song “Girl, so confusing”, which was actually a remix. Near the end of the song, Lorde appeared on stage to sing her verse with the “Vroom Vroom” artist, according to fan footage.

The show also featured another surprise guest — Kelley Heyer, who created the viral “Apple” dance that appeared on the big screen to showcase her signature dance moves in brat– decorated skirt. for the whole arena.

Charli and Sivan — who collaborated on “1999” and “2099” from the 2019 album. Charlie — are currently in the middle of the Sweat Tour, playing several arenas across the US and Canada this fall.

On September 12, the “Sympathy Is a Knife” singer also dropped her remix of “Talk Talk,” featuring the “Rush” singer. The track, which arrives two days before the hitmakers kick off their Sweat Tour in Detroit, sees Charli and Sivan make some sizzling hookup plans.

The song also features a cameo appearance by Dua Lipa, who can be heard speaking Spanish and French, respectively, at the beginning and end of the song, nodding to the original song’s lyrics. (“Talk to me in French / Talk to me in Spanish / Talk to me in your own made-up language / It doesn’t matter if I understand it,” sings Charli.)
