Brooke Mueller is celebrating her sobriety.
The 47-year-old actress, who is Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife, sat down with Hollywood Raw podcast with Dax Holt and Adam Glyn for a rare interview — her first in 15 years.
During the conversation, Mueller revealed that she has been sober for almost nine months.

When Holt, 42, asked her how it was on the road, she wasn’t afraid to hold back.
“It was tough,” Mueller said after thanking him for asking him about the process.
“And many people at my level of addiction fail,” she added. “Actually, most people don’t. I tried very hard. It wasn’t easy. I’m sober. I’m doing a program. I believe in the twelve steps.”

Mueller revealed that one of the things that made her sobriety possible was having a good support system.
“I have a fantastic sober community here in Malibu with great women and appointments that I go to,” she said, adding, “And to answer your question, I’ve been sober for nine months. Well, it will be nine months next week.”
Although Mueller claims to be coping with her journey, the actress insisted that wasn’t always the case – saying it took a lot to get to where she is today.
“Do you want to know how much it cost me from my first rehab at 19 or 20 to my 30th rehab at 47?” she asked Holt and Glyn. “It’s about millions.”

“And it’s not an exaggeration because unfortunately, I thought you had to go to rehabs that cost anywhere from $75,000 to $140,000 a month to get sober,” Mueller said.
She continued, “Actually, the last time I went to a place that only had insurance and they didn’t accommodate me. They didn’t let me. They didn’t care who I might have been or anything like that.”
“What was fantastic about that experience was that it was real, it was raw and it woke me up. It really is, Mueller said.

The actress recently made headlines after she was reportedly questioned about her history with Matthew Perry as part of the inquest into his death.
Perry was 54 when he was found dead in his pool on October 29, 2023. The medical examiner later determined that the actor died of “acute effects of ketamine.”
A source told PEOPLE that Mueller met for the first time Friends star 20 years ago before marrying Sheen in 2008. She and Perry reconnected a few years ago in rehab.
“Brooke Mueller was questioned in this case because she was friends with Matthew Perry but never used ketamine,” a source familiar with the investigation told PEOPLE.
