Chiefs’ Xavier Worthy Runs for a Touchdown, Presents Ball to His Mom on Her Birthday

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Xavier Worthy gave his mom, Nicky Jones, the best birthday present ever!

Jones was at Arrowhead Stadium proudly cheering on her son, 21, and his team, the Kansas City Chiefs, as they played the New Orleans Saints on Monday, Oct. 7.

Since it was Jones’ birthday, Worthy eagerly gave his mom a game ball after scoring a three-yard touchdown run during the fourth quarter that ultimately helped the Chiefs secure a 26-13 victory. It was the team’s fifth straight win at the start of the season.

Immediately after receiving the handoff from tight end Travis Kelce, the wide receiver sprinted into the endzone, ran to his mom in the stands and tossed her the ball before the two shared a sweet hug.
