A HIKER has revealed her chilling encounter with what she believes is a terrifying “demon of the night march” during a marathon in a haunted forest.
Pictures show runner Kay Borleis unknowingly passing a creepy-looking entity during a 100-mile run in the Hawaiian rainforest.

It was the night of a lunar eclipse when Kay ran past the mysterious entity – photographed by her friend Cassey who was supporting her as a pacer.
The couple only noticed the dark, scary figure when they later shared the pictures with their friends and family.
Horrified Kay posted the pictures online on Reddit and said: “My pacer took this photo.
“Notice the figure in the frame to the left of my head.
“We never saw anyone pass us and there were no statues along the path.
“It’s NOT photoshopped or made up. This is legit. And we saw it in Blood this morning.”
A lunar eclipse is often associated with paranormal and mysterious sightings.
And Kay later revealed on the podcast that more creepy things happened to her that night.
During the fourth lap, she felt a sudden, excruciating pain in her right leg.
She described that the pain was so bad that she stopped and started crying hysterically.
She said on the podcast: “I’ve never given up on anything in my life. I’ve never stopped running before.
“But this was different. It was like an out-of-body experience and I just felt like I had given up.
“I felt like something bad was going to happen to me if I went ahead.”
Kay, who had been an avid runner for years, decided to stop.
After giving verbal consent to the organizers, she and her friend Cassey returned to their Airbnb.
And when the pair started scrolling through the photo gallery, they noticed something bizarre – one of the pictures shows Kay running past a creepy-looking entity in her lap.
Both claimed to have seen nothing during their time in the Hawaiian rainforests – but the picture told a different story.
After digging up some information about the place, Kay and Cassey discover a terrible legend associated with the eerie trails of the mountain.
According to legend, the spirits of Hawaiian warriors called “Nightmarchers” roam the island – and anyone who sees these evil entities will die a horrible and violent death.
Kay shared her harrowing experience in a blog post.
People flocked to Reddit to comment their thoughts on Kay’s creepy encounter.
One user said: “This is the creepiest thing I’ve ever seen.”
Another wrote: “Yeah, that really freaked me out when I was watching Live Photo.”
A third said: “Have you seen Live Photo? The thing is transparent and appears seemingly out of nowhere. Even the simplest explanation doesn’t really make sense at all.”
Meanwhile, the terrified couple shared terrifying footage of mysterious abnormalities happening around their home.
A Pennsylvania couple has documented what they claim is “paranormal activity” that has haunted their home.
They showed multiple clips of furniture moving, breaking and even spinning as evidence of a presence in their home.
“We will not let this thing rule our lives! We will continue to try to do everything we can to stop this activity,” the family wrote in a recent post on their TikTok account.
