One fun photo from the actress’ carousel even revealed that Hemsworth and Pataky’s friends, Damon and Barroso, joined them during the New Year’s trip. In the picture, the group posed next to a building outside, with snow-capped mountains forming a picturesque backdrop behind them.

Wearing a green jacket and matching green cap, Thor the actor grinned as he playfully held his wife’s head, while Pataky, dressed in a bright pink jacket and pants, rested her arm around Barroso’s shoulder. The family’s winter vacation coincided with Australian actor Hemsworth, 40, who shared a motivational message with his 58.6 million Instagram followers.

“Happy New Year everyone. As I sit here at the start of 2024 with my family and friends, it really got me thinking about the new year, the new mentality of me that’s been circulating on social media. I have some thoughts,” Hemsworth said after a series of clips featuring him how he exercises and plays sports.

“Flicking the switch on yourself when the calendar changes is never going to be a sustainable way to achieve your goals,” he continued.
