Chris Redd Was Rushed To The Hospital After He Got Punched With Brass Knuckles

On the night of October 26, 2022, former Saturday Night Live cast member Chris Redd was attacked near a comedy club. When Redd arrived at the Comedy Cellar around 9:40 p.m., the event took place outdoors. After the attack, EMS arrived on the scene and Redd was immediately taken to Bellevue Hospital in Manhattan and eventually released. Redd and a representative for Comedy Cellar have yet to comment on the event. Chris is expected to appear in a number of shows, including three at the Comedy Vault on Thursday. On October 30, 2022, he will also play at City Winery.

Chris Redd’s current health status and other information

Chris Redd was taken to hospital after being attacked outside the Comedy Cellar, but was later released. Given that he was freed, he did not appear to have any life-threatening injuries. After getting out of the car, Redd was approached by two people, both wearing shorts. According to TMZ, Redd’s eyes and nose were injured and needed stitches. Both are wearing security guard uniforms, wearing masks.

One of the guys came forward and attacked Chris first, while the other was on the other side of the street observing the whole scene. Meanwhile, Redd has yet to identify any of the attackers, and police officials have obtained security video that they hope will lead to the arrest of the perpetrator. According to witnesses, the attackers took Greg Yuna’s necklace from Redd, but it fell into the street. While the action appears to be motivated by a robbery, confirmation is still awaited.
