Chrissy Teigen is asking for forgiveness for her grueling recipes.
While it is on Living with Kelly and Mark The model admitted Wednesday morning that she doesn’t cook from the recipes she’s shared on previous episodes of the talk show or those she’s published in her cookbooks.
“If I were to do a cookbook now, it would be like 10-minute recipes because I don’t cook like I used to,” the mother of four told co-host Kelly Ripa, who agrees that Teigen is a full house.

In a busier house with more mouths to feed, the author of three cookbooks says she wouldn’t do the tedious tasks she called for in her recipes.
She continued, “I used to tell people outrageous things like, ‘Make sure you get fresh thyme and take the time to pick the leaves.’ And now I’m like, ‘Uhhhhh, no!’ ”

Ripa laughed and replied, “You told us that right here on the show!”
Teigen then added, “If I make my lasagna now, I’m like, ‘This is evil! I can’t believe I did this to people!’ ”
While the former Lip Sync Battle The host says it’s “weird” for her to be on a morning talk show and not cooking, as she’s done in previous segments, enjoying other parts of the food world.
“Right now we’re selling products all over the country in grocery stores and I have my biscuits and my banana bread and pancakes and waffles and they’re so much fun to create and then to paint and design the boxes, it’s a lot more fun for me personally,” she says, adding that is writing a cookbook “difficult”.

Another element of her foodie career is now on the small screen in her new series, Chrissy and Dave have dinner out.
Along with Momofuku founder David Chang, the pair take viewers on a culinary journey through the greater Los Angeles area on their Freeform show. While enjoying delicious dishes, the hosts and their celebrity guests will also share serious gossip about everything from their sex lives to the most embarrassing stories.

“We’re taking the coolest people we know to a bunch of insanely delicious meals,” Teigen teases in the trailer.
The premiere episode, which will air Jan. 24 on Freeform and stream on Hulu the next day, features Jimmy Kimmel and his wife, writer-producer Molly McNearney. Other future guests teased in the trailer include Alexandra Daddario, Simu Liu, Kumail Nanjiani, Sasheer Zamata, Eric Nam, Randall Park, Reid Scott and Regina Hall.
