Christina Aguilera Rocks Nude Illusion Feben Dress with Gold Boots During New York Fashion Week

Christina Aguilera attracted attention during New York Fashion Week.

Getting into the fashion spirit while posing in Tribeca, Aguilera, 42, wore a colorful dress from London designer Feben’s winter collection.

The form-fitting dress hugged the curves of the mother of two and covered her body completely from ankle to wrist, while the vivid print gave the impression of a naked woman hidden in watercolor.

The “Genie in a Bottle” singer paired her multicolored nude illusion dress with gold boots, rose-gold sunglasses and bold red lips, while her platinum locks fell down her back in soft waves.

Aguilera was in New York during Fashion Week to promote Vogue“SmartTox” partners with Xeomin, a “prescription medication that is injected into the muscle and is used to improve the appearance of moderate to severe lines between the eyebrows,” according to the Xeomin website.

In a short film Getting ready with Christina Aguilera for NYFWproducts Vogue featuring Xeomina and posted on Aguilera’s Instagram page, Aguilera showed off getting ready for a stylish week of events as she reflected on her fashion and beauty legacy.

“Fashion week is a world of its own. Absolutely. I love creativity and performance value,” she explained as the team painted her face and styled her blonde hair into a complicated updo. “I love when a designer really puts on a show; I can take a back seat to my performance and dress up and enjoy myself and be entertained.”

“Sometimes it’s just part of the creative process to see what happens,” Aguilera continued, explaining how she chooses her show-stopping look for the big event. “There are different kinds of calls for different glamor looks. I can be a glamor girl or we can be more natural and you know, in different decades we’ve done different things because I’ve done a lot of looks. I get bored easily. So I like to experiment.”

Aguilera – who is mother to son Max Liron, 15, with ex-husband Jordan Bratman and daughter Summer Rain, 9, with partner Matthew Rutler – said Vogue as she is always on the lookout for beauty products that her “sensitive” “skin” likes.

“My skin can literally vary from week to week,” she admitted. “It’s sensitive because of the stress of work or anything that can happen. In the rush mode, you forget to take care of yourself. So I’m much more mindful of it now. I actually like to have a routine and plan things and appreciate the products.”

When it comes to beauty, Aguilera said she likes Xeomin because it’s “double-filtered,” adding that “it’s a smarttox with only the ingredients you need to smooth out the lines of my frown lines and make my expressions glow.”

“It’s all about accepting who you are and feeling comfortable in your own skin,” she added.
