Christina Aguilera celebrated her 43rd birthday with daughter Summer Rain!
The pop singer — who has an upcoming residency at the Voltaire Venetian Resort in Las Vegas — marked the special occasion by uploading a behind-the-scenes video to Instagram in which she surprised her adorable 9-year-old with balloons, cake and lots of love.
The clip began with a view of Aguilera walking into a hotel room decorated with silver streamers, pink, brown and gray balloons and a giant foil balloon banner that read “Happy Birthday.”

The “Genie in a Bottle” singer struck a pose in front of the banner before being joined by Summer, who gave her a sweet hug. The two were then seen entering the concert hall, where Aguilera was surprised with cake, cookies and macarons. She captioned the post by writing, “Thanks for all the birthday wishes – sending love from Vegas ♥️💋.”
Aguilera is spending the summer with fiancé Matthew Rutler. She is also the mother of son Max Liron (15) with ex-husband Jordan Bratman.
While Aguilera was on tour in March, she gave fans an Instagram carousel of how her daughter was adjusting to life on the road.

Christina Aguilera celebrates daughter Summer Rain’s 9th birthday in sweet post: ‘Mommy loves you so much!’
The post began with a photo of Summer sitting on the gym floor drawing in a sketch pad. This was followed by a video in which she revealed her drawing to her mother. The post also included a photo of a book with a world map and a picture of summer on a plane.
“Moments like these really make what I do worthwhile ❤️ Making new memories around the world with my family and watching my daughter capture her experiences in her own creative way has been the greatest reward 🎨✨,” Aguilera wrote in the caption.
That month, she told PEOPLE how her daughter encouraged her to learn how to create different hairstyles.
“She likes to put these little braids in buns. So every morning I’m up with her before school, trying to use a pointy comb to part her hair in the back. I’m not a hairstylist, let me tell you, but God has blessed me to be a mom, and we’re going to do our best to our children feel good,” she said. “You want to instill the message that they preserve true beauty.”
While celebrating Summer’s birth in August, Aguilera reflected on her memories with her daughter.
