Jennifer Lopez Reveals Photos of Racy Red Dress She Wore to Host Holiday Party with Ben Affleck

Jennifer Lopez looked “cheerful and bright” at her holiday party.

On Saturday night, Lopez, 54, and her husband Ben Affleck hosted a star-studded Christmas party at their Los Angeles home, with Margot Robbie, Michael B. Jordan, Jennifer Lewis and Lily Rabe among the many guests.

In the singer’s Instagram post on Tuesday, she included three images showing her Christmas-inspired look. The Fraudsters star posed in her mirror reflection while wearing a red Magda Butrym dress. A source confirms to PEOPLE that the red ensemble photographed is the dress she wore to the couple’s holiday party.

One photo included a shot of Lopez applying lip gloss while showing off her long-sleeved, floor-length red dress with lipstick appliqués on her right shoulder.

Another photo is a close-up of the singer staring directly into her reflection, showing off her glamorous makeup, dark bronze smokey eye, bright peach blush and bare metallic lip gloss. Lopez’s hair was styled with old Hollywood glamour.

The final photo shows the actress staring at her final look as she puts her lip gloss back on the vanity while her hairstylist, Lorenzo Martin, stands in the background.

The Marry me the star also changed her outfit later in the evening, changing into a blue and green sequined dress.

Lopez’s second appearance was seen in a video of the Grammy nominee singing alongside guest Jenifer Lewis, 66. The two gathered around a grand piano and performed a special rendition of “Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas” for the guests.

“They threw a really fun party,” a source told PEOPLE on Sunday. An insider shared that Lopez had partygoers singing Christmas carols late into the night.

While Lopez and Affleck have been meeting up with friends separately while hosting, a source said, “They were both in such good spirits.”

The house was decorated in holiday style with a huge Christmas tree at the entrance. “All the kids were dancing and having a great time, especially the twins and Violet,” adds the source of Maximilian “Max” David Muniz and Emma Maribel Muniz, 15, and Affleck’s daughter with Jennifer Garner, Violet Anne, 18.

Garner, 51, and Affleck, 51, also share Seraphina Rose, 14, and Samuel, 11. Lopez shares her twins with ex-husband Marc Anthony.

This is Affleck and Lopez’s second holiday season together after tying the knot in 2022. They were engaged in 2003 and 2004, and were romantically linked again in 2021.

Before their party, Maid in Manhattan star appeared to be getting into the Christmas spirit as she unveiled her Christmas tree at her Beverly Hills home, which she shared with Affleck on Instagram. The “On The Floor” singer posted a photo of herself posing in front of a tall evergreen tree decorated with gold balls and pine trees.

Lopez matched the color scheme of her Christmas tree as she wore a high-waisted skirt with gold embroidery, paired with a gold bracelet, an embellished belt and glittering gold platform heels.
