Christina Milian had a shoe mishap moments before she stepped on the red carpet.
On Wednesday, September 18, the singer and actress, 42, attended the film’s premiere in Los Angeles wolves, where she wowed in a multicolored midi dress and a pair of vintage heels. On her Instagram Stories, Milian shared that on the way to the event, the sole of her shoe completely separated.
According to Footwear News, the Resorting to love the actress posted a boomerang showing off the bottom of her shoe, writing: “When you decide to wear your vintage heels on the carpet and they immediately fall apart before you take a photo.”
On another slide, she shared another video of the heels – which were black straps with a gold braided detail – with the caption “vintage gone wrong”.

In the video, Milian can be heard saying: “The bottom of my shoe just flew off on the red carpet. Whose shoes are these?” She then checks the shoe tag and adds, “They’re at the laundromat.”

Milian, who rose to fame in the early 2000s with hits like “AM to PM” and “Dip It Low,” is set to star in the upcoming series Dexter: Original Sin.
A prequel to the hit Showtime drama Dexter starring Michael C. Hall, the revival will premiere on Paramount+ with Showtime on Friday, December 13. It stars Patrick Gibson as Dexter Morgan and follows the character as he “transitions from college student to vigilante serial killer.”

“When his bloodthirsty urges can no longer be ignored, Dexter must learn to channel his inner darkness,” reads the synopsis. “With the guidance of his father, Harry (Christian Slater), he adopts a Code designed to help him find and kill people who deserve to be eliminated from society without getting on the radar of law enforcement. This is a special challenge for young Dexter as he begins his forensics internship with the Miami Police Department.”
