Christine Lee Case Update
When Christine Lee Silawan was found dead, she was in a red shirt but was not wearing any undergarments. Even her face was skinned to the bones. The girl was only 16 years old when she was killed in a gruesome way. More about her, She was a collector at a church, the Sacred Heart Parish in Pajac. She was a resident of Sitio Soong, Brangay Mactan, Lapu-Lapu City. Reportedly, Christine Lee Silawan studying in class 9 at that time. Every Sunday she used to go to church at 4 pm and return home by 7 pm. But that day she did not return home causing her mother Lourdes Silawan to worry about her.
Meanwhile, her mother called the Philippines National Police. After the preliminary investigation, an officer said, “Christine Lee Silawan was part of a church ministry as a church collector. She asked permission from her mother yesterday (Sunday) that she would go to church but had not been able to go home since then.” The 16-year-old girl was last seen with three men before being found half-naked and dead in the middle of a field.
Police launched a rape and murder investigation into this case. The victim had a wound on her neck, which was her possible cause of death. The autopsy report revealed that Christine’s face was also attacked with acid and the girl was raped as her genitals were bleeding. Multiple stabbing wounds were also on her body.
