Christopher K. Doboze, age 70, of Ogdensburg, NY, passed away on July 9, 2023. He was born on April 28, 1953 in Ogdensburg to the late Stephen J. and Helen (Deno) Doboze.

Chris graduated from Ogdensburg Free Academy in 1971 and went on to a successful career in real estate and business. During his lifetime he owned and operated several local businesses including Brannigan’s Restaurant, Kelly’s Tavern, Anywhere All Occasion Limousine Service and The Northern Mercantile Mart.

He dedicated more than 20 years of service to the State of New York, retiring from the Ogdensburg Correctional Institution in 2016. Chris was the loving father of his three children: Amy Doboze, Jennifer Hannah-Albon and her husband Aaron, and Adam Doboze.

He was very much looking forward to his role as grandfather to Gage Langstaff, Gavin Phillips, Austin Hannah-Albon and Capri Hannah-Albon. Chris is also survived by his two sisters, Sharon Morley and Shirley Donahue, his nephew Mark Janack and his wife Anne, his niece Melissa Janack and his three fur grandsons, Toby, Tucker and Skipper.

He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings. Known for his love of animals, Chris had a great sense of humor and was happy to share his jokes. However, his true passion lay in food and experiences with his family.
