Like Christopher Walken Severance pay the character is “sure” that he will stay with his colleagues “in spirit”, the actor is sure that the DVDs will remain in his life.
Walken, 81, appeared on SiriusXM Andy Cohen live along with series co-executive producer Ben Stiller and cast mates including Adam Scott and Patricia Arquette to discuss Season 2 of the Apple TV+ show, which premiered on January 17.
At one point, Cohen, 56, asked Walken if he had seen the episodes he was in. “Not everything. I can’t. I don’t have the equipment,” revealed the Oscar winner. “So they’re good enough to send me the DVDs.”
Cohen followed up with, “Oh, really? All right. Do you have an Apple TV+ subscription?” — to which Walken replied, “I don’t have anything.”
The amused presenter concluded: “Exactly. You don’t know. All right. I love you for that.”

IN Severance pay — which won 2 Emmys after being nominated in 14 categories for its first season in 2022 — Walken portrays Burt Goodman, a fired employee who is forced to retire after beginning a relationship with Lumon’s colleague and lover Irving Bailiff.
Stiller, 59, previously told PEOPLE that they filmed the new season in “186 days,” resulting in many “fun” moments together, despite the show’s dark themes.

“When we went to shoot the fourth episode on location in the mountains, that was fun. We had a wrap party for that episode at the ice rink,” Stiller recalled before describing what happened during the filming of the finale.
“I remember we all watched the eclipse together. Solar eclipse,” he continued. “I have pictures of us all going offstage in the Bronx to watch it.”
Severance pay airs on Apple TV+, with new episodes for the second season premiering every Friday until the March 21 finale.
