CIndy Crawford clarifies her recent comments about Greek fashion designer Vassilios Kostetsos.
On the Wednesday, July 24, episode of Bravo’s Watch what’s happening liveThe 58-year-old supermodel played “Plead the Fifth,” a game in which host Andy Cohen asks three questions, allowing a guest to pass just one.
Cohen opened the game by asking Crawford to name a designer she “hopes she never works with again.”
“I’ve only really worked with the good ones,” the model replied, to which Cohen, 56, said: “You can refer to the fifth.
“No, I know this game,” Crawford shot back. “If I make a statement about the heel in this, it’s going to get nastier.”
The founder of The Meaningful Beauty ended up calling Vassilios Kostetsos, a “swimwear designer in Greece.”
“I’ll just go random,” she said. “I responded, but I didn’t upset any great designers.”
On Thursday, August 1, the model took to Instagram to apologize for her comments about Kostetsos.
“From the archives… so many fun looks on the walk for @vassilioskostetsos,” she captioned a carousel of photos of her previous work with Kostetos. “PS sorry for the confusion — I guess I gave up under pressure! If you know you know. Sending a big kiss.”

During the “Plead the Fifth” segment, Crawford also spoke about her daughter Kaia Gerber’s boyfriend, Austin Butler. Cohen asked the model what she thought of Butler’s “endless” accent when he filmed 2022. Elvis biographical film.

“I just… That’s Austin to me,” Crawford replied.
“I didn’t know he was from Anaheim,” she added, referring to Butler, 32, who grew up in California.
“He’s been Elvis for so long that I think it just stuck,” Crawford continued. “I never heard him… like, I didn’t know him before Elvis. So it’s just Austin to me.”
Butler, who first sparked rumors of a romance with Gerber in December 2021, famously kept his Memphis-esque accent after the Baz Luhrmann-directed film wrapped.
