Versace just re-presented Claudia Schiffer at Milan Fashion Week.
The iconic ’90s German supermodel, 53, made her runway return on Friday night, closing Versace’s Spring 2024 show in Milan.
Schiffer resurrected her signature style in a floor-length green and silver dress. The skin-tight dress had a metallic finish embellished with crystal beads and mint green lace that outlined the model’s torso. The look is finished with subtle natural makeup and silver metallic pointed toe heels with a bow at the base of the foot.

“Today during #MilanFashionWeek, @donatella_versace presented her Spring 2024 collection to a star-studded audience,” she and Vogue shared in a joint post on Instagram.
The caption continued: “One of the most special guests? The legendary supermodel @claudiaschiffer, who closed the show in a bright green dress.”
“It’s basically molded to my body. It fits like a glove,” said Schiffer Vogue. “I am always very healthy. I exercise and make sure I rest well.”
The last time Schiffer walked the catwalk was in 2018. The supermodel joined her contemporaries, Carla Bruni, Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford and Helena Christensen, to close Versace’s Spring 2018 show.
In that time. Schiffer, Bruni, 55, Campbell, 53, Crawford, 57, and Christensen, 54, joined Donatella Versace on the runway in a variety of floor-length gold gowns with gold heels.

With 30 years of friendship between her and Donatella (68), the model explained to Vogue how important their relationship is to her on a personal and professional level.
“Donatella is just a wonderful, warm, gentle, honest, sweet person who really cares,” Schiffer said. “It’s like you’re coming into the warm embrace of the Versace family. I always look forward to it. It’s just more than just a fashion show and an ad campaign. It’s so much more than that.”

While Shciffera’s hiatus was punctuated by two Versace shows, she has remained close with Versace’s artistic director for the past five years. Donatella, Balmain creative director Olivier Rousteing and Barbie worked together to create two exclusive Barbie dolls for Schiffer on the model’s 50th birthday.
Barbie 2020 was a recreation of two of Schiffer’s iconic and sentimental looks for fashion brands. The first doll was fashioned to replicate the model’s blue dress from Versace’s Fall/Winter 1994 fashion show.
The second Barbie was modeled after Schiffer’s 2016 look for Balmain’s spring/summer collection, where she wore a black macrame long-sleeved top, belt and cut-out skirt.

Since the release of Schiffer’s Barbie, the model has also been mentioned by Margot Robbie, who played Barbie in the hit movie. In June, while promoting the blockbuster, the actress was styled in a series of looks paying homage to vintage Barbie outfits as well as memorable fashion moments.
At a promotional event in June, Robbie’s stylist Andrew Mukamal revealed on his Instagram Story that her pink metallic mesh Versace dress was designed to pay homage to Schiffer’s pink metallic Versace dress from 1994 Paris Fashion Week.
The German model responded to Barbie star look, writing on Instagram, “Margot Robbie has great taste 😉 @chanelofficial & @versace looks then and now.”
