Corbin Bleu Double-Dutches His Way Back to Jump In! 17 Years After Filming Beloved DCOM: ‘Still Got It’

Corbin Bleu continues to push himself to the limit!

On Sunday, May 26, Bleu, 35, proved he still has a knack for skipping rope 17 years after the release of the Disney Channel Original Jump in!

Bleu proudly shared a video on TikTok of himself playing double dutch while playing “Push It to the Limit” in the background. He wrote at the top of the video, “POV: It’s been 17 years since you jumped in,” and added in the caption, “I still get it.”

Sharing the same clip on Instagram, Bleu revealed it was filmed between performances of his Off-Broadway revival Little shop of horrors.

“Double Dutch between shows outside of our theater! My family @littleshopnyc knows how to bring a community together! Can’t believe it’s been almost 20 years since I’ve been doing this 🤯,” Bleu captioned the post.

In the beloved 2007 film, the actor played Izzy Daniels, a young female boxer who finally finds her love for the sport after joining a tournament with Mary Thomas (Keke Palmer).

Jump in! said director Paul Hoen Business Insider in a 2022 interview that Bleu and Palmer, 30, are some of the “most talented physical actors.”

“What’s so amazing about that group of actors is that they could do all these jumps, it’s incredibly difficult, and all the stunts, they were totally into it and learning how to do it,” Hoen said.

Bleu recently reflected on another special memory – his wedding to Sasha Clements in 2016.

While speaking with PEOPLE earlier this month, High school musical alum recalled having an “epic” ceremony.”

“If I really had to pick it apart, it’s the moment I saw her right before she walked down the aisle. That moment is the key memory,” he recalled. Bleu said watching his wife walk down the aisle in a custom Pnina Tornai gown made him feel like “the world changed.”

“We’ve been together for 13 years. She makes me feel like every day is worth living. I mean, she’s sweet, she’s smart, she’s giving, she’s caring. She loves me for who I am, and everything. I know I can be my whole self with her, and vice versa,” he added, calling her “his person” and “soulmate.”
