The entire city of Memphis is in shock over the unexpected death of Cornelius Wilson, a citizen. Wilson’s friends and family are posting condolences and asking people to keep him in their prayers on social media. Well-known Memphis barber Cornelius Wilson died unexpectedly after severe injuries sustained in a car accident. On Monday at 10:09 p.m., according to Memphis police, McCreary hit a motorcyclist at a high rate of speed after running a red light while driving a Dodge Ram 5500 truck east on Stage Road. The victim was traveling south on Covington Pike at the time. The man was brought to the Regional Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries, the police said.

After being accused of running a red light on Covington Pike and killing a motorcycle on Monday night, Hernando was taken into custody and charged. Scott McCreary, 30, was charged with reckless driving, failure to exercise reasonable care, financial responsibility and vehicular homicide. McCreary was allegedly driving a car without state license plates and was unable to provide police with proof of registration. Police further claim that McCreary was unable to produce any documentation of his insurance. His trial is on November 8. There is currently no bond information available.
