ONE Coronation Street couple have finally called it quits after 34 years of marriage.
During tonight’s episode, Ed Bailey was left devastated to discover that his marriage to wife Aggie is over for good.

It came amid a series of shocking family revelations in which Ed admitted he was aware of the raging fire but did nothing to stop it.
In the episode, the police took Ed in for questioning after a fire report revealed that the fire had spread as a result of an “accelerator” believed to be white spirit.
His family was horrified at first, but it didn’t take long before Michael put two and two together to confirm that his father had deliberately put him in harm’s way.
Michael remained convinced that his father deliberately set fire to the construction yard as part of an insurance scheme to recoup funds lost during his gambling addiction.
Believing this, Michael was stunned to think that his father’s potential actions were the reason he could have died.
Distraught, he hangs up on Aggie Bailey and confesses all about the family problems they’ve been keeping from her while she’s away caring for a sick family member.
Aggie had not been seen on screen for months and was thus unaware of Ed’s gambling addiction.
Michael told her everything and later told his dad and sister Dee-Dee that Aggie knew the full truth.
Horrified, Ed was left in a panic as it became clear that this threatened to destroy their marriage completely.
He later resurfaced after managing to talk to Aggie on the phone where he revealed that the couple had broken up for good.
Ed admitted, “She washed her hands of me.”
Speaking about the split, he said: “Honestly, I never thought I would live to see this day.”
Ed was left in tears as Dee Dee tried to comfort him, unaware that the worst was yet to come.
He added: “I can still picture the first day we met, [it’s] up to 34 years old.”
With the marriage seemingly over for good, Ed admitted that while he wasn’t directly responsible for the fire, he deliberately chose to ignore it as it raged because he wanted to get rid of the builder’s yard.
Dee Dee was furious at his confession because she publicly supported him and stood by him when he revealed his marriage to her mom was over.
She later said that she would keep his horror a secret so that Aggie and Michael wouldn’t be disturbed again.
