CORONATION Street star Lisa George has sensationally left the soap.
The actress played Beth Tinker for 13 years after making her debut in 2011, but has now decided to leave the cobbles.

A source said: “Lisa has been on Corrie for a long time and has had some great storylines.
“She has become a fan favorite with her comedic scenes, but has made viewers sob in heartbreaking plotlines such as Sinead’s death.
“She loves Corrie and it’s in her bones, but she feels now is the right time to move on and take on new challenges.”
Actress Lisa is still filming the soap opera, and her last scenes will be shown during the summer.

Brought in as Steve McDonald’s lover, Beth immediately made an impression on fans and a new family gathered around her.
Beth is married to Kirk Sutherland and her son Craig is a local police officer, while her beloved niece Sinead died of cervical cancer in 2019.
The insider added: “Beth is a bigger character who has never shied away from conflict.
“Her exit will be as dramatic as she is.”
The news comes after The Sun exclusively revealed that Alex Bain has left the series.
Actor Simon Barlow will leave in an explosive storyline in the summer after 15 years, following the departure of his on-screen father played by Chris Gascoyne.
Chris’s character Peter Barlow left the cobblestones to sail around the world after killing serial killer Stephen Reid.
