X FACTOR winner and former Corrie actress Shayne Ward has signed up for Strictly.
The star, 39, who also took part in ITV’s Dancing on Ice in 2013, won the second series of the music reality competition in 2005.

A source said: “Shayne is a previous crowd-voted talent show winner so we’re hoping he’ll do it again. He is excited to start training.
“He has some dance experience so he could be a candidate for the glitter ball trophy.
“He also has a huge fan base from his years as a Coronation Street bloke.”
Shayne starred in Corrie as factory boss Aiden Connor from 2015 to 2018, leaving the ITV soap in a poignant hour-long episode of Suicide Story.
He currently appears in Channel 5 crime drama The Good Ship Murder with former Corrie co-star Catherine Tyldesley.
Shayne is set to join celebrities including ex-football ace Paul Merson, 56, and Nick Knowles, 61, from DIY SOS, in the Strictly line-up.
The first name will be officially announced tomorrow on ITV’s This Morning.
Strictly’s 20th anniversary special will air next month despite ongoing investigations into dancers, including Giovanni Pernice and Graziano Di Prima, over their behavior towards partners on the show.
The BBC said: “Celebrity contestants on the new series will be announced in due course.”
