Alan, 41, played mechanic Tyrone Dobbs for 26 years, while Tisha, 30, played waitress Steph Britton for five years.
An insider said yesterday: “Alan and Tisha loved each other very much and had very similar interests, enjoyed hanging out and going on holiday together.
“But they started drifting apart and feeling the pressure to make their relationship work was getting to them. They realized they weren’t on the same page and a split seemed like the best option.
“They are focused on themselves and surround themselves with their own friends.
A cryptic message
“Tisha moved out of Alan’s home about a month ago and got down to business.”

Alan was forced to withdraw from I’m A Celebrity at the end of last year and take time off from Corrie after major knee surgery.
He is believed to have injured himself during practice and had reconstructive ACL surgery in November.
Alan has a 10-year-old daughter Sienna with his ex-wife, ex-Corrie and Hollyoaks actress Lucy-Jo Hudson (40).
The couple was married from 2009 to 2018.
Lauren Bolton’s mystery boyfriend from Coronation Street is shocking
Tisha, who has removed all photos of Alan from her Instagram account, was cast in BBC medical soap Doctors last year.
On Valentine’s Day, Alan shared a snap of his daughter, captioning it “My Valentine”, while Tisha posted a cryptic message about “fears and insecurities”.
They were yoga buddies before they started dating after Tisha left Corrie in 2019.
Soon after, she moved into Alan’s home in Worsley, Greater Manchester.
In 2020, she told OK Magazine: “It’s nice that we built a strong foundation before anything romantic.”
The Sun reached out to Alan and Tisha’s representatives for comment on Sunday.

Tina’s new Platt lines
CORRIE’S Tina O’Brien has signed a new deal to stay on the ITV soap.
Actress Sarah Platt (40), who joined the cast in 1999, signed a one-year contract.
A source close to the star said: “Tina is delighted with the deal. She loves playing Sara and is a fan favorite. She is committed to the role and is looking forward to embarking on some sexy love life stories.”
Tina, who rejoined Street in 2015 after leaving in 2008, is seen as a central figure on the soap.
And the deal comes after a number of regular customers quit.
Last month, former star Charlie Lawson, who played Jim McDonald, slammed the soap for its “s***e woke plots”.
He said: “Audiences are turned off by too many young stories.”
