Crystal Kung Minkoff Talks Life After Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and Where She Might Be Headed Next (Exclusive)

Crystal Kung Minkoff has work to do after her “bittersweet” departure from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills.

PEOPLE caught up with Real Coco co-founder, 41, and her husband, Rob Minkoff, at the Gold Gala celebration on Saturday, May 11, honoring famous Asian Pacific Islanders.

A day earlier, the couple marked the 21st anniversary of their first meeting. Crystal tells PEOPLE she’s enjoying her time off set. She and her husband have two children: son Max, 11, and daughter Zoe, 8.

“Our life is generally very full, but now I have more time off,” she says. – We really like to travel, so now I’m always at the computer trying to figure out where we’re going to travel.

When asked if there was a place off their bucket list that they wanted to take their family to, Crystal and Rob had two exciting destinations in mind.

“Morocco, maybe this year,” says Crystal.

“I want to go on safari with them!” Rob, 61, answers. Of course, Rob co-directed the 1994 Disney classic. Lion King — his feature directorial debut — and the story is inspired by African wildlife.

BravoCon will take a hiatus in 2024 before returning to Las Vegas in 2025.

“Every Sunday our family is together. I try really hard to pass that on to our kids; we’re just always together and that’s important,” says Crystal.

Crystal was the first Asian-American housewife on the RHOBH when she joined the show in season 11. She initially feuded with Sutton Stracke, but the two later became close allies on the show.

The cast for Season 14 will look dramatically different, as both Crystal and newcomer Annamarie Wiley announced their departures from the series following the Season 13 reunion earlier this year.
