Players can find legendary hacker Rache Bartmoss’ cyberdeck in unexpected places Electronic 2077. The famous hacker can be found in the junkyard, the very place where V was found by Takemura and Dexter Deshawn was killed. The location is linked to the quest”crater illusion,” can be activated in one of three ways:
- If the player arrives in the area, “crater illusion” will start automatically, without prior knowledge.
- If the player completes Nix’s “Spellbound” quest and deciphers the shard, “crater illusion” will start automatically. If they don’t decode the segments, Nix will give them the task.
- If the player has 37 Street Cred or higher, this quest can be found in “Many ways to skin a cat”
Once the mission has begun, head to the fast-travel Medeski Fuel Station to find the cyberdeck in Bartmoss. There will be some ghosts outside the station, so be careful. Following this path straight south will lead the player into the dump. At the end of the row, they’ll find Dexter DeShawn’s body along with Plan B, his signature weapon, and one of the supplies needed to fill up the pantry in V’s apartment, as well as one fridge. Inside the refrigerator is where the bodies of Rache Bartmoss and his cyberdeck are located.

Cyberpunk 2077: What to do with Bartmoss’ Cyberdeck
