A DAD-OF-SIX who was allegedly killed by his lover on Christmas Day had a new daughter – and his parents were told of the tragedy while on holiday.
Louis Price, 31, died at his home in Norton Canes, Staffordshire, in the early hours of Wednesday (December 25).

Kirsty Carless – also called Kirsty Cribb – 33, has been charged with his murder.
Louis’ parents were told of his death while they were abroad on their dream getaway before returning home, locals claim.
A post-mortem has been carried out, but police are not disclosing the cause of his death, saying it will be “the subject of an investigation in due course”.
A neighbor in Elm Road told The Sun: “The young man who died was a lovely lad. He lived with his dad, who was a builder, and his step-mum, who worked at a local nursing home.
“They kept to themselves and were a decent, hard-working family.
“Louis had a little daughter that he liked to bite.”
She added: “He lived here with his parents and his girlfriend lived in Cannock but came over a lot.
“I’ve lived here for six years and they’ve been here even after that.”
Family members, visibly shaken and hugging each other, visited the scene on the day of the accident.
It is believed that among the group were the parents of the victims, who had returned from vacation but were too upset to say anything.
One young relative said: “It’s too raw, we can’t talk, we have to be left alone.”
Another resident said: “He has very good neighbors and what has happened is very sad and Christmas is a time for family to get together.
“The parents were overseas at the time and were warned of this nightmare, and it’s such a terrible way to lose a son. It’s shocking.”
‘NO, NO, NO!’
Another neighbor told MailOnline: “I heard something, it woke me up and it was a girl crying loudly and saying ‘no, no, no!’
“I didn’t know what was going on but it sounded serious, I looked outside and the emergency services were everywhere.”
She further said that she understood that Louis lived at the property with his parents, but they were in the Maldives for Christmas.
Officers responded to reports of a man suffering a heart attack at a home around 3:25 a.m. Wednesday.
Despite the best efforts of the emergency services, Louis soon died at the scene.
Carless was arrested at the property before appearing at North Staffordshire Justice Center on Saturday.
She was remanded in custody yesterday.
Staffordshire Police have referred the IOPC watchdog “due to recent police contact” and there will be an investigation.
In a tribute, Louis’ family said: “Louis was loved by his family and closest friends.
“He was a well-known member of the community, always had a smile on his face and brought positive energy wherever he went.
“He always had time for everyone and would help anyone he could.
“Louis was a dedicated fisherman, had a passion for fishing and regularly went on trips with friends and family.
“He loved football, played for the team and was a lifelong Aston Villa fan.
“As a family we are devastated by the loss of Louis. Life will never be the same without him.”
The family added: “He leaves a huge hole in the lives of all who knew him.
“Christmas is a time we’ve always spent together as a family, losing Louis at this time is even harder.
“Louis left behind his mum, dad, brother and sister, along with his six children.
“He has four daughters and two sons whom he loved very much. Louis had a big heart, he loved those closest to him.
“As a family, we would like to ask people to respect our privacy at this difficult time.
“We’re asking people not to speculate about what happened.”
