Dairy Queen’s newest desserts will make fans feel lucky.
The ice cream chain has announced the return of its classic St. Patrick’s Day treats: Under the Rainbow Shake and Mint Brownie Blizzard.
Known for its vibrant colors, the Under the Rainbow Shake is made with strawberry flavors and rainbow sprinkles mixed with soft serve vanilla ice cream. To round off the cheerful dessert, the shake is topped with whipped cream and rainbow drizzle.
The Mint Brownie Blizzard is another favorite St. Patrick’s Day treat from DQ. It consists of chocolate brownie pieces, chocolate chips and mint mixed with vanilla soft serve.

Dairy Queen reveals cherry-dipped cones are making a comeback after being discontinued
Fun, frozen treats aren’t the only menu items Dairy Queen is bringing back. The chain recently announced that the Cherry Cone Dip will return to the DQ menu after it was discontinued last spring.
“We know our fans love Cherry Dipped Cones, and we’re excited to bring this sweet offering back for a limited time at participating locations,” a brand representative said in a statement.
TikTok creator @DairyQueenShelbyTwp, whose real name is Miranda, also shared the exciting news on TikTok.

“Back in May, I announced that the Cherry Cone Dip was being phased out and replaced with Butterscotch, and I knew a lot of people were going to be upset,” said Miranda, who is a district manager at Dairy Queen locations in Michigan.
“But due to high demand, the cherry is making a comeback. I can’t give an exact date because it depends on when the distributors get it in stock, but it’s been one of the best sellers in my location, which is southeast Michigan, so I’ll be the first to let you know when I have it,” she added in the video.
Back in May, when Dairy Queen announced the departure of the Cherry Cone Dip, they hinted that it might one day return.

“DQ always rotates our dipped cone flavors and Cherry Dipped Cones may return in the future. Fans should check with their local DQ restaurant to see what flavors are available,” the release said.

“I guess I’ll find a new pastry shop. Our options are chocolate, butterscotch and churro?” one user wrote. Another simply said, “I’m so sad.”
The post, which has garnered nearly 300,000 likes, revealed just how popular the cone flavor is among customers. “Honestly it’s the only thing I get so no more dairy queen for me…” another commenter wrote.
