And Mirrorball goes to…
Dancing with the stars season 33 finally named a winner on Tuesday, November 26, after eight, exciting weeks of competition.
Former NFL pros Danny Amendola and Witney Carson, bachelor Joey Graziadei and Jenna Johnson, actress Chandler Kinney and Brandon Armstrong, Olympian rugby player Ilona Maher and Alan Bersten, and Olympic gymnast Stephen Nedoroscik and Rylee Arnold entered the finals hoping to walk away victorious.
In the end, it was announced that Danny and Witney were fifth, Stephen and Rylee fourth, and Chandler and Brandon third.
This left Jenna and Joey and Ilona and Alan as the final two contenders.

Finally, in the final minutes of the finale, Joey and Jenna were revealed to be the winners of Season 33.
“It means everything, this whole experience has been amazing,” Joey said after the win. “Thank you for your patience with us. I did my best, I promise!”

Each couple performed a Freestyle with additional dancers as well as a redemption dance. Joey, 29, and Jenna, 30, revisited the Cha Cha for their redemption dance, Danny, 39, and Witney, 31, went with the Tango, and Stephen, 26, and Rylee, 19, opted for the Quickstep. Both Chandler, 24, and Brandon, 30, and Ilona, 28, and Alan, 30, performed Jive for their Judges’ Redemption number.
By the end of the night, Joey and Jenna were on top of the leaderboard after a perfect redemption dance and a 29/30 in the freestyle.

Going into the night, Joey and Jenna and Chandler and Brandon found themselves at the top of the leaderboard from the beginning of the season. Stephen and Rylee and Ilona and Alan were not far behind them. After a few weeks, Danny found his footing as well, and he and Witney became prime candidates for the Mirrorball.
“We watch a lot of tape,” the former announcer told PEOPLE in October of how he and Witney progressed during the season. “Honestly, it sounds like a football interview, but we watch a lot of film and try to study other dancers — what they’ve done — and try to tweak it a little bit ourselves and just put together a good performance on Tuesday night.”
All five couples made it to the final after host Alfonso Ribeiro surprised them at the end of last week’s semi-final by announcing that no one would be going home.
Kinney told PEOPLE after the Nov. 20 show that she felt “shocked” and “grateful” that everyone was making it to the finals. “It’s such a great group of people,” she said. “I don’t think any of us here wanted to go home. We were all in awe of each other.”

Maher told PEOPLE that she “wasn’t sure if we were going to make it” to the finals after the tough competition.
“I didn’t know how far we would go,” added Bersten. “We danced for the first time the day before we left for New York Good morning America. We didn’t really know what we were doing, but I knew that afterwards we went and got a bagel and I was like, ‘Oh, this is going to be fun.'”

With unforgettable dances and emotional moments on the dance floor, season 33 Dancing with the stars two possible love relationships are shown. Model Brooks Nader and her partner Gleb Savchenko had instant chemistry at the start of the season and continued to date after they were eliminated on October 15. Although Brooks, 27, shared that Gleb, 41, broke up with her via text later that month, the two continued to spend time together and post on social media.
Bachelorette Jenn Tran and her Season 33 partner Sasha Farber have also formed a close relationship and have been hanging out frequently since the Oct. 29 elimination. The reality star (27) even mentioned that they will live together.

“I’ve got to find a place to live right now, and that’s probably Sasha’s couch,” Tran told Tish and Brandi Cyrus on the Nov. 14 episode of their podcast. Sorry, we’re Cyrus.
Tran added that when she lives with the 40-year-old dance pro, she will “make me cook and clean every day. I don’t know how I feel about it, but I don’t have to pay rent.”

Both couples returned to the ballroom for the final on November 26, as did convicted fraudster Anna Delvey, who notoriously claimed she took “nothing” away from the show after walking out first. In the final, she joked about her comment by dancing to the song “I Have Nothing” by Whitney Houston.
“I really didn’t take much away from this experience,” Delvey, 33, said on the Sept. 28 episode of Tori Spelling. wrong SPELLING podcast. “I think I had to be defensive, especially after all the backlash I got when I was involved in the show, even though the producers [tried] to defend me. And I think everyone in the cast was generally very good to me. But in the end, I don’t know.”
