Destiny 2: How to Get Deep Stone Crypt Weapons (& God Rolls)

The Deep Stone Crypt raid weapons are some of the most powerful weapons in Destiny 2, perfect for new or returning players wanting to get better weapons for their arsenal. Destiny 2 has seen a number of changes since these weapons were originally released, and several updates to weapons have made them even stronger in Season of the Lost. There are seven weapons for players to earn during the Deep Stone Crypt raid, each with powerful perks.

The Deep Stone Crypt raid offers a Sniper Rifle, Scout Rifle, Hand Cannon, Shotgun, Machine Gun, Sword, and Exotic Rocket Launcher. Eyes of Tomorrow is an Exotic Rocket Launcher that can only be earned by defeating the final boss, Taniks, the Abomination. Each week, Guardians have the opportunity to defeat Taniks and the Deep Stone Crypt once per character to unlock the Eyes of Tomorrow. If they can’t get the weapon to drop from the raid, they’ll have to wait until the following week to try again.

Every other weapon in the Deep Stone Crypt raid has a lot of utility for PvE and PvP content in Destiny 2. Unlike the Garden of Salvation or Last Wish raids, these weapons can only be earned from specific chests. Guardians will have to open each chest for the first time in the Deep Stone Crypt raid in order for that weapon to become available in future chests. Additionally, only one new weapon per chest can be opened weekly on any character until all weapons have been earned.

These are the Deep Stone Crypt weapons, where they can be found, and their God Rolls:

The Trustee, Posterity, and Commemoration are all very strong choices for PvE content. Each of these weapon types received a large increase in PvE damage output for Season of the Lost. Additionally, Heritage’s perks Reconstruction and Recombination are fantastic choices for Destiny 2 PvP, including the updated Trials of Osiris. The former reloads the weapon automatically from reserves, while the latter grants an increase in damage range after getting a final blow with an Energy weapon.

Destiny 2 is available on PC, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
