Destiny 2: How To Get The New Purpose Pulse Rifle (& God Roll)

The new purpose pulse rifle is one of the weapons from the Binary Dungeon destiny 2and it has some special God Scroll perks combos. The new aim has a high impact frame that can do accurate high damage at longer ranges, but it fires significantly slower than pulse rifles with other types of frames. Additionally, the weapon deals stasis damage, making it ideal for use in events where enemies have stasis shields and active match modifiers.

The new purpose is one of the few weapons in the Dual Dungeon that can’t be crafted destiny 2. Getting the top score will be entirely up to the RNG, and unfortunately the New Intent is one of the most challenging weapons as it can only be obtained from one of three encounters. However, Dual Dungeon is a repeatable event for new rewards, meaning players don’t have to wait until the weekly reset to earn new rewards for recurring encounters. Also, after getting new targets naturally in encounters, you can get even more new targets from two secret chests in the dungeon.

The Duality Dungeon’s final boss, Calus’ Greatest Shame, is the only encounter where new intent can be earned. One of the secret chests is in the room with the four Cabal statues and the other is in Calus’ vault, near the tenth repressed memory location destiny 2. The first chest is located inside a door in the outer wall, while the second chest is located in a hole near the aforementioned repressed memory. Again, these chests will only reward weapons and equipment previously purchased in the Dual Dungeon, so the new Intent needs to be purchased at least once to drop from either location.

The Best Perks of New Purpose in Destiny 2

The Best Perks of New Purpose in Destiny 2

One of the ways the New Purpose benefits from a high-impact frame pulse rifle is that virtually any barrel and magazine can be used. While these two options don’t affect PvE performance as much as PvP, there are some perks that should be avoided if possible. Full Bore is the only crate perk that is useless in the Vanguard, Crucible and Gambit events destiny 2 Since increasing range greatly reduces the weapon’s handling and stability, it’s counter-intuitive if the weapon becomes less stable.

Also, Alloy Magazine is the only magazine perk that should be avoided, as it only activates when a new Intent needs to reload an empty magazine. However, magazine perks like Extended Mag and Appended Mag are also better suited for PvE activities, while Ricochet Rounds and High-Caliber Rounds are better suited for PvP. For the combination of perks in the third and fourth columns, the Guardian should look for new purposes with the following reels:

  • 1. Perpetual Motion/Desperado – This is a new purpose scroll for PvE and PvP events.
  • 2. Eternal Motion/Tombstone – This episode works well with slow loads in PvE such as the Revenue Hunter built in destiny 2.
  • 3. Tunnel Vision/Desperado – While not as good as the first combo, Tunnel Vision pairs well with Desperado for faster aiming speed.
  • 4. Well-Rounded/Headstone – Another great stasis-building PvE test, as Well-Rounded provides a cumulative bonus for weapon stability, handling, and range after Throw a grenade or hit the target with a burst of melee attacks.
