Devastating pics show LA celeb mansions burned to ground including John Goodman’s & Leighton Meester’s in wildfires

SOME of Hollywood’s biggest names have lost their glitzy homes to the wildfires raging through Los Angeles.

Pacific Palisades, a haven for A-Lister types, has been hit by a horrific inferno, and firefighters are struggling to bring the blazes under control.

Leighton Meester and Adam Brody’s mansion, where they lived with their two young children, was reduced to smoking ruins.

Paris Hilton’s Malibu beach house and Billy Crystal’s sprawling home also burned down.

Actors John Goodman, Miles Teller and Anthony Hopkins also saw their homes destroyed.

About five people have died so far in the historic fires — with at least five separate fires spreading across Palisades, Eaton, Hurst, Lydia and Woodley.

Parts of Sunset Boulevard were also set on fire, leaving one of the most famous streets in the world reduced to smoking ruins.

About 100,000 people were forced to evacuate Eaton, and 30,000 fled the Palisades, turning celebrity spots into ghost towns.

Leighton Meester and Adam Brody

Actors Adam and Leighton, who bought their five-bedroom mansion in 2019, saw it burn down during raging bushfires.

The $7 million home was gutted by fire on Wednesday, just days after the couple appeared together at the Golden Globe Awards.

They lived in a huge house together with their two young daughters.

The gruesome pictures showed its roof completely gone, its walls gutted by flames, and clouds of black smoke billowing from what was left of the building.

The impressive Paris Hilton beach in Malibu was also a victim of the fire.

Malibu was hit Tuesday night as the inferno accelerated and spread across the region.

The socialite’s house was one of many that were razed – although it is said not to be her main residence.

Insiders told TMZ on Wednesday that she was “burnt out.”

His Pacific Palisades property was right in the fire’s path, leaving only his pool behind.

Horrifying images showed the entire property reduced to a huge pile of burnt ash.

The Oscar winner’s house was charred to the ground, and only the smoking remains remained.

Actress Anna Faris also lost her $5 million LA home.

Aerial photographs showed the mansion completely leveled to the ground with burnt trees and piles of rubble.

Faris bought the house in 2018 and lived in it with her husband Michael Barrett.

Billy Crystal

Famous actor Billy Crystal’s house after raging fires was reduced to only his tennis courts.

Terrifying aerial images showed the entire house disappearing into piles of smoking rubble.

Next to it lie the browned tennis courts that once bordered his impressive mansion.

The actor said: “Janice and I have lived in our home since 1979.

“We raised our children and grandchildren here. Every inch of our house was filled with love. Beautiful memories that cannot be taken away.

“Of course our hearts are broken, but with the love of our children and friends we will get through this.”

Actor Miles Teller and his wife Keleigh bought their $7.5 million mansion in April two years ago.

It was completely destroyed in the wildfires, along with one of their cars left burned to the ground in the driveway.

Keleigh shared a series of photos on Instagram of the fire and firefighters working to evacuate people and leave water behind for escaped animals.

The five-bed house, reportedly intended as a “secondary residence”, was reduced to a pile of ashes.

James Woods

Two-time Oscar winner James Woods broke down on TV when he revealed he had to flee his Pacific Palisades home before it was destroyed by wildfires.

The tearful star of Once Upon a Time in America and El Salvador, 77, told CNN: “I’m sorry, you’re only in the pool one day and the next you’re gone.”

He added: “I’m sorry, I thought I was stronger than this.”

Ben Affleck

Ben Affleck, who lives near ex-wife Jennifer Garner, fled his home and headed straight for hers as the fires engulfed it.

He evacuated with her and their three children, and the entire clan is now safe, the Mail reports.

Affleck bought a $20 million mansion in Pacific Palisades just five months ago after his divorce from wife Jennifer Lopez.
