Deveshi Sahgal is an Indian singer and songwriter. She is popular for singing the unplugged version of the song “Dariyaa” from the film Manmarziyaan (2018). She specializes in Sufism and Hindustani classical music.

Devish Sagar was born in Delhi. At the age of 4, her mother enrolled her in Indian classical music under Gurinder Kaur; she trained under Gurinder Kaur for 10 years. Deveshi developed an interest in painting at an early age and studied as a sculptor at the Delhi College of Art and then received her diploma as a sculptor from Chelsea College of Art in London.

Deveshi lent her voice to the unplugged version of the song “Dariyaa” in the film Manmarziyaan (2018). Amit Trivedi contacted her to purchase the song after seeing her music on Instagram. After this song, she got recognition in Bollywood and later she received a contract from Zoya Akhtar’s record label Tiger Baby.
