Dhairya Karwa is an Indian model and actress who works primarily in Bollywood. He is best known for his role as Captain Sartaj Singh Chandok in the Bollywood action film Uri: The Surgical Strike (2019).

I really wanted to meet him (Ravi Shastri) because I kept hearing great stories about him. He was part of my cricketing experience in the 90s and early 2000s, so when I got the role, I thought I should read everything about Ravi sir. I’ve been watching all of his interviews and videos to make sure he’s got the boy language right. I have also been playing cricket for five months now and the focus is on learning his style. It was challenging because I am a natural right-arm bowler and he is a left-arm bowler. I’m also working on my phrasing and his speaking style. “

This is a huge responsibility and a privilege. He has played different roles in different generations of the game. So, I do have a lot to do, but I don’t feel stressed. I was asked what I thought of him and my cricketing skills were tested. So, while I did pass the litmus test, I felt like it was a huge responsibility to play him. “
