Dhruv Jurel is an Indian cricketer who has represented India U-19 in many international matches. He represents Uttar Pradesh in the domestic circuit. He plays for Rajasthan Royals (RR) in the 2022 and 2023 IPL seasons.

Dhruv Chand Jurel aka Dhruv Jurel was born on Sunday, January 21, 2001 in Agra, Uttar Pradesh, India (22 years old; as of 2023). His zodiac sign is Aquarius. He studied at Army Public School, Agra. His father wanted him to study hard, pass the National Defense Academy (NDA) entrance exam, and become an Army officer; however, he was interested in sports from an early age. When he was in eighth grade, he attended a 60-day sports camp with the intention of taking swimming lessons; however, he saw some boys playing cricket and attended the cricket camp without telling his parents. His father later read an article about him in a newspaper and tried to coax him into participating in other sports; however, Dhruv convinced his father of his ambitions. In 2014, he played 6 games in the Under-17 Schools National Cricket T20 Championship and scored over 600 runs with four centuries and two half-centuries. He was then selected for the Uttar Pradesh U-14 team and played 3 games in the 2015 U-14 Raj Singh Dungarpur Trophy and scored 152 and 137 runs in the final against Madhya Pradesh . In 2015, he was selected for the Uttar Pradesh Under-16 team and participated in the Vijay Merchant Trophy in the 2015-16 season. He was selected for the Uttar Pradesh Under-19 team in 2018 and played in the Vinoo Mankad Trophy in 2018-19 and 2019-20 seasons. On 16 October 2018, he scored his first domestic U-19 single-day half-century against Jharkhand U-19. He also represented Uttar Pradesh Under-19 team in the Cooch Behar Trophy 2018-19, scoring 762 runs and taking 51 catches in 11 games.
He was selected for Uttar Pradesh in 2021 and made his T20 debut in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy against Punjab on January 10, 2021 and scored 23 runs off 30 balls. He played his first Ranji match against Vidarbha on February 17, 2022, scoring 64 runs in the first innings and 4 runs in the second. He was selected in the Uttar Pradesh Under-25 team in 2022 to compete for the CK Nayudu Trophy.

He was selected in the India U-19 A team and participated in the 2018-19 India U-19 Quadrangle Tournament against India U-19 B, South Africa U-19 and Afghanistan U-19. He was the vice-captain of the Indian U-19 team in the 2019-20 ICC U-19 World Cup. He captained the Indian U-19 team in the Asian Youth Cup held in Sri Lanka from September 3 to 15, 2019.

Dhruv Jurel was acquired by Rajasthan Royals in the 2022 mega auction for a base price of Rs 20 lakh. He did not play any match in IPL 2022; however, he made his debut in the following season against Kings XI Punjab in Guwahati on 5 April 2023 and scored 32 runs off 15 balls, including Includes 3 fours and 2 sixes.
On April 23, 2023, he showcased himself by scoring 34 runs off 16 balls, including 2 fours and 2 sixes, against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) talent. He scored 34 quick runs in 15 balls, including 3 fours and 2 sixes in a six-a-side match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on April 27, 2023. Former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen praised his batting skills after the match against CSK and said:

- He is a right-handed batsman and wicketkeeper.
- When he was 12 years old, he asked his father to buy him a cricket kit. When his father refused, he locked himself in the bathroom and said he was leaving the house. When his mother heard about this, she gave her gold chain to his father and asked him to sell it to buy him a cricket set.
- In the early days, he was a deputy. However, his coach Pavendra Yadav convinced him to become a full-time batsman and wicketkeeper. His coach also told him after seeing his talent that Dhruv would definitely play for the Indian team.
