Dillon Jordan, a film producer, was sentenced on Thursday, February 9, to a maximum of five years in prison for operating an upmarket prostitution ring for seven years. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Dillon Jordan, 50, on September 1, 2022 pleaded guilty to operating an international prostitution ring through his production company PaperChase Films from 2010 to 2017.
The producer, widely known for films like The Kindergarten Teacher and The Child, sends women across state borders to perform illegal sexual activities for an exclusive clientele, many some of them are said to have Hollywood connections. According to the Justice Department, Jordan pleaded guilty to violating the Mann Act, which prohibits the transportation of people across state boundaries to commit illegal sex acts. The court dismissed multiple additional charges against him as part of the plea agreement, including three counts of solicitation, use of interstate commerce to further illegal activity and money laundering. .
Dillon Jordan’s activities have been condemned by both victims and authorities.
US Attorney Damian Williams described Dillon Jordan in court as a predatory individual who exploited young women under the guise of getting them jobs in the entertainment industry. According to Williams:
“For many years, defendant ran a large company (…) dedicated to serving wealthy, addicted men who benefited from the exploitation of young women. This office is dedicated to prosecuting offenders (such), especially those criminals who benefit from physical and mental abuse.”
According to Judge Cronan, Jordan’s work involved physical and verbal abuse, as he forced many women to work for him. According to the judge:
“(Jordan’s) whole business is based on the exploitation of women… Each of them carries lifelong physical and mental wounds… If I had power, I could could easily survive for five years.”

According to US Attorney Audrey Strauss, although many of the charges against Jordan were dropped as part of the plea agreement, he used his production company to launder a large amount of money. He is also alleged to have a strong international network, working with traffickers in other countries, such as the UK.
According to Strauss:
“As noted, Dillon Jordan has maintained a large-scale and extensive prostitution business for many years, concealing the profits he makes by exploiting women through an event management company. and make fake movies.”
One woman revealed her experience in Jordan’s ring in an official statement cited by prosecutors, telling authorities that the producer even forced her to take drugs. She stated:
“I remember being so scared when my eyeballs were pounding in and out of my brain because of the drug you actually put in my mouth.”
According to CBS, Jordan spent eight years in Cuba on identical charges before being charged with a new one.
