Divyansha Kaushik is an Indian actor who works mainly in the South Indian film industry. She is known for her performance in the Telugu film Majili (2019), for which she was nominated for the 2019 SIIMA Telugu Award for Best Female Debut.

- Divyantha revealed in an interview that she wanted to become an actress ever since she saw Kareena Kapoor playing ‘Poo’ in the Hindi film ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham’. However, as time passed, Kaushik developed an interest in becoming a fashion journalist and editor of American fashion and lifestyle monthly magazine Vogue.
- As a child, Divyantha often accompanied her mother to work. In an interview, she mentioned that she often went to editorial shoots with her mother, Anu Kaushik, and people on the set would tell her to try her luck in acting, including actor Rani Mukerji Mukerji).
- Divyantha, who was still a student at the time, had gained about 20 kilograms. She believed that her chubby appearance was not suitable for being an actress. I was going to go to editorial shoots with my mom, where people would tell her I should try acting. If this advice had come sooner, my life would have been different. I was studying in a boarding school in Mussoorie and had gained 20 kilograms, so I thought I was not cut out to be an actor. At school I was always into debating, drama, but never took acting seriously. As I gained weight, the compliments on me diminished significantly and I started thinking makeup was something I should pursue. Mum has a farmhouse in Delhi with a spa and salon, so it was easy. ”
- Divyansha Kaushik started her career as an intern at Yash Raj Films, an Indian film production and distribution company founded in 1970 by veteran filmmaker Yash Chopra, where she learned about the process of casting and filmmaking.
- While working at ‘Yash Raj Films’, Divyansha started working out, shot her first portfolio and soon received offers to appear in TV commercials. She has worked with many brands including Pantene.
