Dog Sneaks Out and Attends Metallica Concert in California — See the Cute Photo!

Metallica had a furry friend in the audience at their recent show in Southern California.

According to a social media post for the iconic heavy metal band, a pooch named Storm arrived at the group’s show in LA at SoFi Stadium, enjoying an evening of the band’s greatest hits.

“Our friend Storm snuck out of her house near SoFi Stadium and went to the show all by herself,” Metallica’s Facebook page explained Thursday. CNN said the event took place on August 25. The Grammy-winning musicians were in town for their #M72LA show when a dog decided he wanted in on the action.

The band shared a picture of the dog sitting casually in a stadium seat, eyes fixed on the stage. “After a full night at the show with her #MetallicaFamily, Storm was safely reunited with her family the next day,” the Facebook post continued.

“She had a blast listening to her favorite songs, including ‘Barx Æterna’, ‘Master of Puppies’ and ‘The Mailman That Never Comes,'” Metallica added online, putting a canine twist on some of its popular songs.

Although Storm was lucky to be able to play with the rest of the band’s LA supporters, Metallica advised that others “definitely should not bring” their pets to any of their world tour dates.

“But this dog sure had his day…”, the band’s post concludes. On Wednesday, the Animal Hope & Wellness Foundation of LA shared a “Metallica Dog Update” via Facebook.

The organization assured readers that Storm was fine and that “Animal Services took the puppy to a nearby shelter” after she was spotted at the scene, and the story went viral. “The next day someone who lives in [the] area claimed the puppy escaped from their yard,” the foundation said.

Animal Hope & Wellness Foundation did a quick check and found the individual’s story verified. “Based on [owner’s] Facebook page, the dog looks groomed and loved. Thanks to everyone who helped share the post. Happy that the dog found its way home,” the organization wrote.

While it remains unclear how Storm managed to slip past security and find an empty spot, since only pets are allowed on the property, her owner is happy the pooch is “home and safe.”

As reported by the San Francisco Chronicle, Arizabeth Hurtado later spoke to PetHelpful about how her husky ended up at a heavy metal concert. “We learned something new about her..she’s apparently a huge Metallica fan who decided to sneak out to the concert!” she told the outlet.

Hurtado revealed that her home is across the street from a concert hall in Inglewood, California, so Storm didn’t have to travel far to get some fun.

“We laughed so hard when we saw he was SITTING IN AN ACTUAL CONCERT SEAT,” Hurtado added of his adventurous dog.

Their Sunday night performance at State Farm Stadium has been rescheduled for September 9th.
