Doron began her career in radio drama at the age of six. She made her acting debut in 1991 with the Bengali film Sajani Go Sajani.
She has also appeared in many popular Bengali films such as Apan Por (1992), Sanghat (1996), Charuulata (2012), Alik Sukh (2013) and Drishtikone ( 2018). She made her television debut with the role of ‘Mohini Chatterjee’ in the Bengali serial ‘Maa….Tomay Chara Ghum Ashena’ (2009-2014).
