Donna Kelce Thinks She Won’t Be Seated in a ‘Pricey’ Box with Taylor Swift at the Super Bowl: ‘I’m in the Stands’

Donna Kelce talks about her seating arrangements for Super Bowl LVIII.

The mother of brothers Travis Kelce, 34, and Jason Kelce, 36, sat down for an interview with TODAY ahead of the championship game, which will see Travis and the Kansas City Chiefs take on the San Francisco 49ers at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

“You can understand that the boxes in Vegas are multi-million dollar,” said Donna, who has sat with Travis’ girlfriend Taylor Swift at his previous games, when asked about the Super Bowl seating arrangement.

“So, I have the feeling that I am not in the box, I have the feeling that I am in the stands. As far as I know, I’m in the stands with everyone else because this is an expensive Super Bowl,” she continued.

Donna’s comments come after she told PEOPLE last week that she’s “not entirely sure” what the accommodations are like in the Vegas suite or if Travis has already booked her a suite.

“I know I’ll be there,” she said. “And I know I’ll probably be in the stands, so we’ll see what happens.”

Donna also opened TODAY on Wednesday about changing his Facebook cover photo to a group photo featuring Swift after the Chiefs beat the Baltimore Ravens, 17-10, during the Jan. 28 AFC Championship game.

“Really, that was the picture where we were all so excited to be in the suite. We were so excited that they made it to the Super Bowl that we just filmed everyone who was there,” Donna explained. “So there was nothing calculating or anything like that.”

She added: “Everyone supported my son and I was happy to put that picture on Facebook.”

Meanwhile, the proud mother revealed that she tries not to “bother” her sons during their playing days.

“They’re a little busy and I don’t think I’ll be able to get through,” Donna said. “But I usually try to — like, I’ll text my sons the night before and give them a little pep talk, send them a little funny picture from when they were younger, depending on what team they played on.”

“So I come back and… a little nostalgia,” she added.
