Dorinda Medley Had No Idea Traitors Castmate Sam Asghari Is Britney Spears’ Ex-Husband: ‘What Does Your Wife Do?’

Dorinda Medley couldn’t identify the traitors—or several of her fellow believers—last season Traitors.

The The Real Housewives of New York The alum recently opened up about her brief involvement in the third season Traitors. Star Bravo was eliminated during the second episode of the series after the traitors “killed” their first believers. Medley, 60, appeared on the Wednesday, Jan. 15, episode of SiriusXM The Julia Cunningham Show and detailed her time with fellow players in a Scottish castle.

After asking about the castle environment and what it was like to be with fellow reality TV stars and public figures, Cunningham asked, “Was it just the nodding types of acknowledgment of who the people were?” Cunningham then took contestant Sam Asghari as an example. Asghari, also faithful, was identified as Britney Spears’ ex-husband on the show.

The former couple married in June 2022 and split the following year. Asghari (30) finalized the divorce in early May 2024.

But Medley told Cunningham she didn’t know who Asghari was. “I had no idea. This is a funny story by the way. I swear to God, it’s true. Cross the heart. I had no idea who Sam was,” he said The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip said the star.

“I gave him advice on what it’s like to go through a divorce,” she said and revealed that she asked him, “What is your wife doing?” “Then my friend Traitors competitor i Big Brother alum Britney Haynes “finally” told her, “‘Dorinda, that’s Britney Spears’ ex.’ ”

“I had no idea. You know, I’m kind of one of those people, I’m very good at being in this world and I’m very good at not being in this world and I think that’s how I’ve kept my sanity all these years,” Medley explained. . “I am very present in everything I do.”

Cunningham continued by asking if Asghari said, “‘Yes, I signed my life away.’ ”

But Medley confirmed that he didn’t reveal much about their divorce, instead trying to find out more about Asghara’s emotional state. “I thought, ‘Are you heartbroken?’ and I say, ‘Oh my God, you’re young. You will meet someone again. I’m sure she was great’ and Britney [Haynes is] like, ‘What’s wrong with you?’ ”

“I was his mother because that’s what I naturally do,” Medley admitted. “I love my mother. I like to cook for people, take care of them, solve their problems. It’s very natural to me.”
