Aditi Saigal aka Dot is an Indian actress and musician who will make her acting debut in Zoya Akhtar’s film Archies. She is a musician who became famous when she uploaded her singing video on YouTube in February 2017 and received 35,000 views in a short period of time.

Aditi is the daughter of Amit Sehgal and Sheena Gamat. Her father was a rock musician who founded Rock Street Magazine, which became India’s first rock magazine. Her father went on vacation to Goa and drowned on January 5, 2012.

Aditi launched her YouTube channel on August 29, 2010. However, her singing journey began when she joined some musicians from One World Music Academy and started singing in a band. She spoke of the experience and said:
It was fun, with some friends of mine: a singer, flutist, bass player, guitar player. We all contributed a lot of songs, so it’s not just my songs. I think it leans more towards pop, but I can’t really put my finger on that. Anyway, I don’t really understand the type thing.
She uploaded her first singing video on February 22, 2017, which gained her a huge following on YouTube; she has since built a decent follower base. She has since received numerous cover requests, which she declined, saying:
If someone asks me, I just smile and say, “Haha, yeah, that’s a good song.” I only do things when I really want to. ”
She released her album Khamotion on 16 July 2021, which features songs she originally wrote for her final year project at Bangor University.

In 2022, she signed her first film project in Zoya Akhtar’s film Archies, which will be released on Netflix in 2023. The film will star Sharukh Khan’s daughter Suhana, Boney Kapoor’s daughter Khushi, Amitabh Bachchan ‘s grandson Agastya and actor Mihir Ahuja star. Vedang Raina, Aditi Saigal and Yuvraj Menda.

- Her upcoming film Achis has been criticized after the first trailer was released. Twitter was flooded with tweets calling the movie a multiverse of nepotism. The film was also criticized for using a story from a famous comic book as a launch pad for the children of three Bollywood stars.
