Drake’s 37th Birthday Means Free Sliders at His Dave’s Hot Chicken Chain

Happy birthday, Drake!

On Tuesday, October 24, Drake’s 37th birthday, Dave’s Hot Chicken is showering fans with free food.

Dave’s Hot Chicken, which is known for its hot chicken sliders and bullets, started as a pop-up in East Hollywood six years ago. Drake discovered the restaurant in 2021 and became one of its biggest investors. The chain has since opened locations across the country.

Now, the rapper is celebrating his big day by giving away free chicken sliders at all participating Dave’s Hot Chicken locations. Hungry fans will just need to scan their Dave’s Hot Chicken app in person, between 11 a.m. and 9 p.m., local time. (The deal does not apply to online orders or through third-party delivery services such as UberEats or DoorDash.)

Dave’s Hot Chicken Sliders feature a piece of fried chicken with your choice of spice level. They are served on potato rolls with kale, pickles and Dave’s sauce.

“[Drake is] our most famous investor and the fact that he wants to give something back to the fans by letting everyone try Dave’s Hot Chicken on him says it all,” Bill Phelps, CEO of Dave’s Hot Chicken, said in a press release.

This is the second year in a row that Dave’s Hot Chicken is giving away free food in honor of his big day. In April, Dave’s Hot Chicken celebrated its sixth year in business by offering free sliders.

In the video, Adonis wears a basketball jersey and raps while shooting baskets and drawing on the board with his friends. Drake even appears in the video as a cameo. Drake shares a son with French artist Sophie Brussaux.

“Happy birthday my son…MY MAN FREE NOW OUT,” Drake wrote in his Instagram caption.
