Linebacker Has Theory About Kelce’s Winning Ways – And It Has To Do With “Confidence”
Micah Parsons has his own theory as to why Travis Kelce seems to play better when Taylor Swift attends his Kansas City Chiefs games.
The Dallas Cowboys linebacker says it’s all about “confidence.”
“Travis Kelce is my boy, the best tight end in the league for the last three, four years, so it’s obviously not Taylor Swift,” the linebacker, 24, he said in his podcast The Edge with Micah Parsons. “But I will tell you all one thing. When there’s a bad girl, she’s there and she’s looking at you, it gives you that extra boost of confidence.”
According to stats released during Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers — and just after Kelce, 34, scored a touchdown — the tight end has more than twice as many yards per game (99) when the “Bad Blood” singer is watching vs. to himself” (46.5).

“You know what Kelce does,” Parsons said. “I know what’s going on. He’s done it before, so now he’s like, ‘Yeah, now I’m going to do it more.'” Like it’s showing off. It’s confidence when things like that happen. You all know how it goes.”
While Kelce had a great game with 12 receptions for 179 yards in the Chiefs’ 31-17 win over the Chargers, Swift also looked like she was having fun watching it all happen.

After Mahomes and Kelce connected for a touchdown, their leading ladies debuted a celebratory handshake, which the NFL handed out in video posted on X. The notable move involved slamming the new friends’ hips into each other, ending with a leaping chest kick.

“Taylor can stay around as long as she wants,” he said, adding that Kelce “is getting better over time.”
